This year’s Fayette Gives will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at www.fayettegives.org. The website will host online donations, live results, and cash prize opportunities for charities throughout the day. A record-breaking 110 local charities are participating.
Fayette Gives is a “day of giving” hosted by the Community Foundation of Fayette County (CFFC) that engages the community in philanthropy and supports local charities. During this fundraising marathon, the public is encouraged to donate to participating charities and take advantage of special incentives that can help charities boost their fundraising.
Online donations will be available during the 12-hour period on November 6th. This includes credit/debit cards, mobile pay, and ACH payments (with eligible institutions).
Donors who prefer to donate by check can give now. Make one check payable to CFFC for the total amount, and mail it to CFFC, 5 South Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA 15401 with a completed Check Contribution Form. Gifts can also be made through donor advised funds, charitable IRAs, or stock transfers. All donations must be received at CFFC by November 6th at 8:00 p.m. and the minimum donation is $25 per charity.
“Fayette Gives is a special opportunity to give back to charities in a community-wide effort. Over $2.5 million has been raised in the first five years,” said Ron Gabriel, Chair of the CFFC Board of Directors.

New this year — CFFC is partnering with local libraries for Fayette Gives Pop-Ups throughout Fayette County. The public is invited to come to these pop-ups to learn about Fayette Gives and receive promotional items. Dates are as follows: September 13 at Brownsville Free Library from noon until 2:00; September 16 at Carnegie Free Library of Connellsville from 10:00 until noon; September 18 at the CFFC office from 10:00 until noon; October 21 at Uniontown Public Library from 10:00 until noon; October 23 at German-Masontown Public Library from 10:00 until noon.

EQT has created a GIVE campaign in partnership with the Community Foundation of Fayette County (CFFC) and EQT leaseholders. The GIVE Fayette County campaign fosters the act of philanthropy and lasting impacts for Fayette County communities.
The intent of GIVE Fayette County is to connect EQT landowners with CFFC and maximize the foundation’s grantmaking. The EQT Foundation will contribute $25,000 annually to the GIVE Fayette County campaign, as well as match landowner contributions to the campaign up to $10,000 per lease agreement for the first year of participation. For donations to qualify, they must be more than $100 in aggregate.
“The EQT Foundation is dedicated to supporting communities touched by EQT’s business, and we’re happy to partner with CFFC and landowners to give back in Fayette County,” said Ellen Rossi, EQT Foundation President.
To participate in the GIVE Fayette County campaign, landowners must complete an enrollment form at www.eqt.com/community/give-campaign/.

EQT landowners can make a flat donation directly to the GIVE Fayette County campaign or allow EQT to withhold a certain amount or percentage of their monthly royalties to be donated on their behalf to the campaign.
CFFC will use all GIVE Fayette County campaign donations for grantmaking to Fayette County nonprofits, helping to address the ever-changing needs of the community. The contributions will support the foundation’s Building a Stronger Fayette Fund, an endowment for general grantmaking.
“Through the GIVE campaign, landowners’ contributions and EQT Foundation’s match will help make an impact in Fayette County for today, tomorrow, and forever,” explained Renee M. Couser, CFFC Executive Director.

The Community Foundation of Fayette County gathered local charities on December 12 at the Fayette LaunchBox to celebrate Fayette Gives 2024 and announce the final total. Ninety-six (96) Fayette County charities raised $586,365 through CFFC’s fifth annual Fayette Gives. This “day of giving” helps to build a stronger Fayette County by engaging the community in philanthropy and supporting local charities. During the 12-hour fundraising marathon on November 7, donations were accepted at www.fayettegives.org with live results and leaderboards on display.
“We know charities put a lot of work into their fundraising efforts, so it’s encouraging to see that over 1,000 people donated to this year’s Fayette Gives,” said Renee M. Couser, CFFC Executive Director.
Thanks to the Fayette Gives sponsors, over $50,000 was awarded in prize money as donor incentives. Each hour, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., charities had the chance to receive cash prizes based on a variety of criteria, including their asset size category, dollars raised, number of donors, and random drawings.
“Charities can choose how they use the fundraising money to support their work in Fayette County. Having that discretion is really valuable for a lot of charities,” explained Couser.
At the celebration event, Representative Charity Grimm Krupa addressed the room and commended the charities on their impact in helping others. She said, “The most rewarding thing about my position is doing a deep dive in the community…. We are doing good things in Fayette County, and I see that when I look out into this room.”
Senator Pat Stefano congratulated the charities on their Fayette Gives fundraising and said, “You guys get a lot of things done with just a little bit of money…. You make great things happen, so I’m so thrilled you’re part of this program, and taking leverage of these dollars, and getting them out in the community.”
“Each and every one of these charities play a part in building a stronger Fayette, and we actually had someone donate to all ninety-six (96)! The donor explained that they were looking through the list and felt compelled to support all of them. That was an exciting ‘first’ for Fayette Gives,” said Couser.
This fifth year of Fayette Gives brings the grand total to over $2.5 million that has been raised for local charities through the “day of giving”. Have you heard the phrase “give where you live”?
That’s what Fayette Gives is all about!
Fayette Gives is a 12-hour fundraising marathon, hosted by the Community Foundation of Fayette County (CFFC), that is all about the phrase “give where you live.” This year’s giving day will take place on November 7, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at www.fayettegives.org. CFFC encourages all interested charities to attend the “Getting Ready” webinar on June 12 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
This live webinar will be an online-only training presented by GiveGab, the company that manages the platform for Fayette Gives. Fayette Gives 2024 will have a new look, due to a switch in platform and new features for charity tracking and donor engagement. The foundation believes it is crucial for charities to attend the June 12 training to learn about new features and prepare for a successful Fayette Gives campaign.

Each charity that registers for the “Getting Ready” webinar and (virtually) attends will be awarded a $50 prize to add to their Fayette Gives fundraising. There is a limit of one prize per charity, and prizes will only apply to charities who are approved to participate in Fayette Gives at the registration cut-off date of August 30, 2024. During Fayette Gives, the public donates to participating charities to support their mission and services in Fayette County. Everyone can track live results and leaderboards throughout the “day of giving”, and donors can help their favorite charities win cash prizes to boost their fundraising.
In the first four years of Fayette Gives, the community has raised over $2 million for Fayette County charities.

What is the Educate Fayette Scholarship Fund?
The Community Foundation of Fayette County’s board of directors has approved the creation of a new scholarship fund, the Educate Fayette Scholarship Fund, to provide funding towards local students’ higher education. This fund will serve as an alternative to donors creating a named scholarship fund.
The Educate Fayette Scholarship Fund will award scholarships to students pursuing higher education. Applicants must be a Fayette County resident and either a student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, or a non-traditional student.
Donors to this fund will be recognized as Silver ($100 – $4,999), Gold ($5,000 – $14,999), and Platinum ($15,000 +) Sponsors. Check donations can be made payable to CFFC with Educate Fayette Scholarship Fund on the memo line. Online donations are being accepted through CFFC’s PayPal account.
Donations to the Fund Matched by Generous Donor
The public is invited to support the Educate Fayette Scholarship Fund. To strengthen the fund in its first year, a generous donor is matching donations. A dollar-for-dollar match will be provided, up to a maximum of $25,000, for contributions to the Educate Fayette Scholarship Fund through the end of 2023.
Check donations can be made payable to CFFC with Educate Fayette Scholarship Fund on the memo line. Online donations are being accepted through CFFC’s PayPal account.
