Clara L. Pascoe
Clara holds over 25 years of experience in non-profit development and management and has been employed as Director of Development at the West Virginia University College of Creative Arts, Heinz History Center, and as Executive Director at Touchstone Center for Crafts. She was hired at the CFFC in 2006 and has helped grow the CFFC’s endowment from $3 million to over $15 million today. Under her leadership, the CFFC received the honor of National Accreditation (2009) and Re-Accreditation (2014) from the Council on Foundations and was named the 2009 Outstanding Foundation of Western Pennsylvania by the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Southwestern PA. In her capacity as Executive Director of the CFFC, Pascoe is responsible for guiding the organization in fundraising, grantmaking, public policy, outreach, and community engagement. Pascoe is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, where her undergraduate major was in Fine Art/Art History and also holds a Masters Degree in Communication Studies from California University of Pennsylvania. She serves on the Board of Directors at Fort Ligonier and Fay-Penn Economic Development Council.
Renee M. Couser
Director, Donor Relations
Renee brings over 20 years of experience working to better communities through grant-making. She began working for Blue Cross of Western Pennsylvania (now known as Highmark) in a variety of roles. Her experience ranges from serving as Grants Administrator in the Community Affairs Department and also working closely with the Highmark Foundation. She also served as Administrative Assistant in the Government and Public Relations Department. In 2008, Renee joined the Community Foundation of Fayette County. She is a resident of Belle Vernon and graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School and Bradford School of Business in Pittsburgh, PA.
Glenn Valdiserri, DBA
Director of Finance
Glenn brings extensive accounting and financial management background, having worked in a major regional accounting firm and with numerous large manufacturing companies as CFO and Controller. He also has expertise in HR and IT to expand those functions in our small shop.
Lee has been a resident of Fayette County since 1983 and has been working as a bookkeeper for several small local businesses since 1995. While her children were growing up, she volunteered extensively with the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, area churches, garden clubs, high school sports booster clubs, and local soccer leagues. She is happy and proud to be part of the Community Foundation of Fayette County and is amazed by the generosity of ordinary citizens that make Fayette County a better place in which to live.
