Tax Credit Programs for Businesses

The Community Foundation of Fayette County is approved as a Scholarship Organization, Pre-Kindergarten Organization, and an Educational Improvement Organization. Your Pennsylvania business may be eligible to receive tax credits through the Pennsylvania Department of Economic Development (DCED). To apply for the tax credits, businesses must submit the DCED’s Single Application for Assistance. If approved, your donation to CFFC will provide tuition assistance and other educational opportunities for Fayette County students through these programs. Questions about applying for these tax credit programs can be directed to Dr. Glenn Valdiserri, Director of Finance, at 724-437-8600 x3.

The Pre-K and K-12 scholarships provide tuition assistance for families attending participating private schools in Fayette County. Families can get an application from their school and submit it to CFFC, according to each year’s EITC timeline.

Educational improvement grants provide funding to local school districts for innovative educational programs. CFFC has two approved programs that receive funding in December, based on the year’s contributions.
