Expanding Educational Opportunities for Children and Youth in Fayette County
Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program encourages businesses, including corporations, partnerships and LLCs, to contribute to the Community Foundation of Fayette County. We are approved as an EITC scholarship organization.
EITC increases educational opportunities for children, offers financial assistance for families not able to afford diverse educational opportunities, promises better outcomes for children in preparing our future workforce, and makes tax credits available for business partners of 75% of the contribution for a one year commitment and 90% for a two year committment.
Educational awards for Pre-K and K-12th grade are available through CFFC for students attending private or parochial schools. Applicants must be Fayette County residents to qualify and the school must meet Department of Education curriculum standards.
To apply, please complete the appropriate EITC application.
Applications must be post-marked between April 1 and August 15 to be considered.
