Tylar Andaloro was the proposed valedictorian of Laurel Highlands High School Class of 2002. An active and popular student, she was the recipient of many track and field awards. One month before graduation, Tylar lost her life tragically in an automobile accident.
The Community Foundation makes a difference in Fayette County every day. We encourage projects that include the following criteria: provide measurable and visible impact, promote tourism as an economic generator, build strong community partnerships and collaborations, and enrich the quality of life for residents.
The Grants Committee meets twice a year and selects the projects that best fit our mission. The Community Foundation's interests include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
To be eligible to apply for a grant, organizations must be tax exempt non-profits, (recognized under Section 501(c)(3) or equivalent of the U.S. Internal Code), be located in Fayette County, or be located outside the County and have programs that benefit Fayette County.
Organizations wishing to apply for support are encouraged to complete the Grant Request Summary Form and mail to the Community Foundation Office.
